Products & Certification / Certification Policies
HomePNA is dedicated to protecting the needs of service providers and consumers and
increasing competition among vendors by supporting the creation and implementation
of uniform, industry-standard conformance test procedures and processes, which assure
the interoperability of home networking products and services.
To assure interoperability, HomePNA implements a rigorous, two-stage testing
methodology. Member companies must:
Download the HomePNA certification specification and perform
extensive testing to verify product functionality and conformance to the HomePNA
specifications.
Undergo testing by HomePNA to verify compliance to critical
parameters of the certification specification and controlled interoperability
testing sessions with other HomePNA-certified products.
Once products pass the certification process, products receive HomePNA's official "seal of approval." Only products that have successfully passed this process can use the HomePNA logo and will be listed with the  =HomePNA Certified symbol on the
member products page.
