ORGANIZATIONAL EVENTS

Member Meetings

HomePNA members help to design and drive the Alliance's vision of existing wires home networking by participating in member meetings and Plugfests. These meetings give industry members an opportunity to connect and discuss opportunities to develop the market and devise strategic directions to enhance technology adoption.

Plugfests

Plugfests are official HomePNA-sponsored meetings where members gather for interoperability and certification testing to meet HomePNA's Certification Policies.

HomePNA-enabled device manufacturers can not claim their products are "HomePNA-certified" unless they pass this testing at one of the regularly scheduled members-only events.

Plugfests also provide an opportunity for members to network with one another. This approach helps improve products and provides a basis to establish if a device's performance conforms with critical HomePNA specifications.

Members can download the certification specification and plugfest procedures via the Certification Policies. Individual members and interested parties receive announcements about individual Plugfests via e-mail announcements.
